Project Details
ICS was contracted to construct a turnkey groundwater extraction and treatment system at a major aerospace manufacturing facility in Southern California. The system extracts groundwater from twenty (20) onsite extraction wells and treats the water using advanced oxidation and granular activated carbon.
Field Tasks
- Excavated approximately 6,500 linear feet of trench for groundwater extraction and electrical/control conduit installation
- Installed twenty (20) groundwater extraction vaults, downwell submersible pumps and headworks piping
- Installed seven (7) remote motor control panels with instrumentation, electrical and fiber optic wiring

Field Tasks
- Installed 3,000 square footing reinforced containment pad with decorative block wall enclosure and structural steel metal decking and metal mesh screen
- Provided 480V, 3-phase service to treatment compound and all electrical distribution panels
- Provided all piping, instrumentation and electrical/control wiring for installation of an advanced oxidation system (ozone generator, air compressor, ozone reactor, equalization tanks, chiller and hydrogen peroxide tank
