Project Details

ICS was retained to perform decommissioning and demolition activities for the existing jet fuel operations located on the Beale Air Force Base in Lincoln, California. Field operations were performed under strict oversight of on-base CIH and safety auditors without incident and in compliance with all field protocols.

Field Tasks

  • Pressure washed and cleaned four (4) 100,000 gallon fuel tanks; performed required confined space entry with proper PPE and pre-cautions
  • Utilized pigs (scrubbing, detergent and drying) to clean and clear approximately 21,000 linear feet of 4” and 6” diameter fuel conveyance lines
  • Demolished and recycled four (4) 100,000 gallon fuel tanks within tank farm; installed track planks to protect asphalt berm during demolition activities

Field Tasks

  • Upon approval by Army CIH, initiated cold cutting and direct loading of 21,000 linear feet of conveyance pipeline for off-site recycling as scrap metal
  • Cleared berm of tank debris and hauled off-site for recycling as scrap metal
  • Project was completed ahead of schedule and exceeded the QC and safety standards implemented by the Army Corp
